From the day of its formation in 1792, BMS World Mission - or the Baptist Missionary Society - has been seeking to make the name of Jesus known in the world.
BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in around 35 countries on four continents. BMS personnel are mainly involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, and media and advocacy.
BMS World Mission supply all sorts of resources including magazines, audio and visual items ( most of these are free ) and visits from missionaries who are home from overseas as well as home based speakers.
Overseas Missionaries are supported by churches across the UK.
